I want this Dress!!

I love this knitted dress that the Duchess of Cambridge wore on her Grand Canadian Tour.  Not all of the  outfits she has worn on this tour have totally won me over, but I am sure as she gains confidence in her new role she will get more experimental in her style.
However this stunning cable knit Tennis / Cricket dress, with it nautical, 1930's feel has certainly and thoroughly confirmed that Sarah Burton is a truly worthy successor to the McQueen label. 
If only the same could be said for Dior......... I think their search will continue, after seeing there latest collection.

Here is a similar pattern,which uses DK yarn and size 4mm knitting needles, for sale on my website.  Although it is designed for a man, the measurement is 36 inches around the chest, so will easily fit most girls and look equally cute.  This pattern is certainly on my list of next knitting projects.
