I have been busy making socks again for us this winter. It is so much fun making socks, they are quick, interesting (especially the heel shaping) and oh so cosy to wear. It is the most requested hand knit item from my boys each year.
These Fair Isle Socks pattern were originally designed for men, but as the foot size is adjustable they are just as suitable for ladies. It is a really easy Fair Isle pattern as the socks are mainly knitted on 2 needles and only changes to 4 needles towards the end.
The boys socks are from my free pattern section and I use them as a template to try out different designs (with the help of my kids)!!
